Just before meeting yesterdays model I had a bit of time to kill ... wht better to do than a quick visit to National Gallery to practice drawing. Here r some of the studies I did from one of my favorite painters. I couldn't stay for long so they r a bit rushed in places but it was still a pleasure. I was intrigued by this interesting angle ... The top image is the original position in the painting (and the angle I drew it at). For the benefit of those viewers that find it easier to 'read', I rotated the top image of the head in Photoshop.The rotated image is the second from top.
